What does Uaque mean?
Muiscas were an indigenous people who inhabited the southern highlands cundiboyacense
and Santander department in Colombia since the sixth century a.c. and whose descendants
now live in Bogotá. In honor of this people and our bond of friendship as members of CISV,
we decided that this village was called Uaque village.
we decided that this village was called Uaque village.
Uaque in the extinct dialect Muisca means: Friend...
Just what we'll all be in this amazing summer!
